Dialogue

I only eat breakfast on Mondays.

“Yea, I eat; I just prefer to eat more for sustenance, like breakfast foods. They’re heavy and take time to digest, so I’ll eat a big breakfast, say, on Monday mornings to get me through as much of my day before having to eat again.”

“God, I’m so fucking busy. Who has time to eat breakfast? Maybe, I’ll eat a good breakfast on maybe a Monday morning when I’m already up earlier cause I like to start my week off on the right foot.”

“Uh, no. Breakfast time is long gone by the time I get up. But Mondays are special. I’ll get up and meet my mom for breakfast cause she’s an early riser.”

I really hope you win the match.

“Yea man, I hope you have a good match and win cause that’d be awesome for you.”

“Hey! Good luck, you know, like I really really hope you win. You know what I mean?”

“You’ve got this. You’d better have a gre … good luck, yea, I hope you win this one.”

I never read a book I can’t understand.

“If I can’t understand something in a book, then there’s no way anyone could ever understand the book.”

“No, I mean, it’s pretty simple. I learned everything I need to know, because, I guess I don’t really know what good a book would do explaining me what I don’t even need to know.

“Books are supposed to be fun and interesting. Does anyone even like working hard to get through a book? Probably not.”

It’s better to walk on the beach at night.

“Well, everyone can see you during the day out here, but at night, it’s like you can go unseen and still enjoy the beach with all your clothes on.”

“It’s just so cool and breezy and quiet and calm, and yea, when it’s chilly, we can snuggle.”

“I hear what you’re saying, but the beach is better at night. That’s just the way it is.”
